Will Shameless season 10 feature Ian, Mickey behind bars?
Take, for example, whether or not we’re going to be seeing Ian and Mickey outside of prison moving forward. Judging from the post on Instagram below via Fisher earlier this month, it does appear as though we’ll be starting off with the characters behind bars … but they may not be staying there forever. As a matter of fact, we hope that there are some opportunities to see them out of there and moving into some new territory.

As we get set to dive into Shameless season 10, we want opportunities to see some of these character pursue happiness in a way in which they haven’t so far. We already know that this show is going to be stuffed full of dysfunction — it always is! Yet, we do still think that there is a chance to demonstrate some of these characters moving towards something. Maybe it’s small movements, much as we’ve seen before with Carl and with Lip. It doesn’t have to be anywhere near as dramatic as what transpired with Fiona near the end of season 9, Just give us a reason to believe that some of these characters, one way or another, are going to be able to evade the clutches of one Frank Gallagher — the one person we’re sure will never fully escape everything that he has done. We’re not really sure that he wants to.
By the time we get around to the fall, let’s go ahead and cross our fingers that Shameless season 10 gets a premiere date and some other scoop — including whether or not this will be the final season of the series.
