‘Downton Abbey’ season 3 spoilers: What to expect in episode 6
Can you believe that we are already in the home stretch of “Downton Abbey” season 3? After spending so much time watching American television, the brevity of the work across the pond is still something that you have to work rather hard to get used to.
So what is going to happen when it comes to Sunday night’s new episode? Thanks to a new report from Digital Spy, we do have a few more details worth sharing about what should be a surprising hour stuffed with a number of surprises, including how Robert and Cora (pictured) try to figure out the state of their relationship now, as she clearly resents him over how he handled the final minutes of Lady Sybil before her stunning death last week.
When it comes to Tom, we can tell you that he is going to do more than just make a decision concerning his young daughter’s faith; he’s also going to give her a name that stirs up all sorts of discussion among the members of the Abbey. Then again, don’t some of these people have plenty of other things to worry about? For one, one of the workers downstairs is set to get in a little bit of trouble after trying to help Ethel cure some of her cooking problems while working at Isobel’s, and we are also going to see a new opportunity open up for Daisy.
When it comes to Bates, everything may end up as we expected; thanks to a new reason in the case, Anna has seemingly found a new reason for optimism, and she tells her lover behind bars to do his best to avoid causing any trouble for the time being. But can he really keep his end of the bargain? When you consider the sort of people that he is spending time with these days, this may be a far harder promise to keep then you would think.
