Love Island USA: Winston Hines of Big Brother eliminated
At the midway point of tonight’s new episode, Winston ended up departing Fiji after the recoupling ceremony didn’t go in his favor. Upon his exit, he joked that it was fun to explore the country and live in the villa with a bunch of people who aren’t altogether interested in him. Winston struggled from the get-go to find someone. There may have been a perception among some in the house that he arrived too late, or there could have been some notions about his past reality TV history.
The reason why Cashel was kept in the game over Winston is because of the idea that he has so much more room to explore a relationship — Kyra and Cashel were together for so long that he didn’t have a whole lot of eggs in some other baskets. This is a chance for him to take a look at some of them and see what happens.
Most of the other recoupling choices were not all that much of a shock — the awkwardness between Kyra and Cashel was palpable after the fact, though. Cashel still has to hope that there is a way for him to move forward.
In other news, tonight’s new episode featured Zac and Elizabeth getting to spend more alone time together, new couples got to know each other better, and there was kissing and telling along the way.
At the end of the episode, you had a chance to see what America thought about some of the contestants via one of the “games” — otherwise known as production screwing with their heads. Zac seemed to be turned up especially over being called “boring” while America told Zac that he was far under Elizabeth’s thumb. There was gossip aplenty out there about the two on the other side — right after getting some alone time, could this be one of the things that causes the two to be split apart more?
