Snowfall season 3 episode 4 preview: Franklin versus the LAPD
Snowfall is one of those shows where you find yourself rooting for the antihero — the person starting the drug empire rather than those who try to stop it. What makes this world all the more complicated is, of course, the simple fact that not all cops are good guys. There are plenty of dirty and corrupt people out there who will do anything and everything within their power to get one over on you. As a matter of fact, some of them will break so many laws that they bring themselves on the same level as the criminals.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Snowfall season 3 episode 4 synopsis with some other news when it comes to what’s next:
Franklin and Melody reconnect; the LAPD takes a stand against Franklin’s growing operation; Teddy is forced to clean up Gustavo’s mess; Andre’s fight with the Saint family becomes personal.
How are the Snowfall ratings to date?
For those who want a check-in on that subject, know that the show is drawing so far a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and also around 850,000 live viewers. These are solid totals so far this season, and they’re down slightly versus the numbers for the second season. All things considered, this does inspire a certain degree of hope moving into the next batch of episodes … provided that renewal news does come in.
Remember, of course, that these numbers represent only a tiny fraction of the overall viewership for FX as a network — there are a lot of other factors that they’re taking into account, as well, including DVR ratings, streams, social-media buzz, and international viability. When you consider all of this, it’s clear that Snowfall is going to be more than fine.
