‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: The Governor is here (video)
Just in case you weren’t excited enough about “The Walking Dead” following the season premiere Sunday night, the newest teaser from AMC should give you plenty to jump up and down about in excitement. Why? Let’s just say that it includes everything that you want to see from the show in just 30 seconds … including the biggest villain the show has seen yet.
Even without seeing too much of him yet, there is still something about David Morrissey’s character of The Governor that is magnetic. He has a sort of charisma about him to make you think that he is the right man to lead you to the promised land, but underneath the surface lies someone who you have more reasons to be afraid of than anyone else. There may not be too much of him in Sunday night’s episode, but it won’t be long after that until Andrea and Michonne stop by Woodbury and pay him a visit.
Clearly, “The Walking Dead” has already set the bar rather high for itself. After all, it set some ratings records for the season 3 premiere, and posted more total viewers and a higher rating in the 18-49 demographic than any scripted basic cable show in history. We also have a feeling that a season 4 renewal is going to be coming any minute now, as we know that the network and the show’s producers would love nothing more than to start thinking up some new stories to dive into soon from the Robert Kirkman graphic novel series.
What do you think about this new teaser, and what story are you the most excited to see next?

I can’t wait to see walking dead and the braxton again, I was so disappointed when I thought that they would not return, I am so delighted that they will be returning.
Thank so, so, much

Can’t wait to see David Morrissey as the Governor!!! He’s a brilliant actor and there couldn’t be a more interesting role.
The title of the video is misleading though, I’m 99% sure that clip was introducing the rest of the season, not just a teaser for the next episode. I don’t think we see the Governor until episode 3.
