‘Body of Proof’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Lost’s’ Henry Ian Cusick in as…
For those of you who love Henry Ian Cusick (and you really should), we have some rather exciting news to share: the former star of “Lost” has now just booked an exciting new role on the third season of ABC’s “Body of Proof.”
So who is the actor set to play? According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, Cusick is going to be appearing in an episode as Trent Marsh, a psychiatrist who will have a pair of patients who are being carefully monitored by some of the show’s detectives. Given that he is such a high-caliber guest star, we have a feeling that he will somehow find himself far more involved in the case than just about anyone would have originally expected.
Since finishing up with “Lost” after six seasons, Cusick has appeared on a plethora of other shows across the board, including the likes of “Scandal,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “The Mentalist,” and “Fringe.” It’s possible they he may actually return to the latter show as Simon during the final season, largely due to the fact that the role was originally introduced in the “Letter of Transit” episode last year that was more or less a precursor to what we are seeing now. Personally, we hope that all of these roles are eventually going to lead to Cusick landing something that he has not had in a while: a permanent gig on a show with “series regular” next to his name.
What do you think about this new casting, and are you now slightly more excited about the return of “Body of Proof”?
