The 100 season 6 episode 12 preview: Naming Day & big changes
The world of Sanctum is about to alter itself in a way that it has not for most of the season — and that’s saying something. Brace yourself accordingly.
Below, CarterMatt offers up more The 100 season 6 episode 12 news in the form of the attached synopsis:
CHANGES – A special Naming Day changes everything in Sanctum. Gabriel (guest star Chuku Modu) comes face to face with an old friend. Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Paige Turco, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles and Shannon Kook star. The episode was directed by Antonio Negret and written by Kim Shumway (#612). Original airdate 7/30/2019.
Think of this episode as a direct link to the finale. Like so many penultimate episodes before it, we have a hard time thinking that what happens here is going to resolve any main plot point. Instead, it will be an exaggeration of all of the problems that Clarke, Bellamy, and others have been going through. The finale may not resolve anything, either — it’s possible that the finale just amps up the stakes once more for season 7, or it pushes the story off into a totally different direction. It seems like the writers knew long enough in advance that there would be another season that they could plan accordingly.
Given how far The 100 has stretched the imagination of its viewers for most of this season to date, one thing feels very much clear: All bets are off. If you can have multiple minds sharing the same body, you can have almost anything and it will turn out to be okay in the end. If you set it up well enough, viewers will believe you.
