NCIS: New Orleans season 6 filming now underway!
In a new post on Instagram this week, cast member Necar Zadegan did her part to confirm the news. We imagine that this should be a fun season for her character of Hannah Khoury now that she is more established as a full-fledged member of the team. How could it not be? She knows everyone better and there is going to be a feeling of family that courses through the team and some of what they deal with.
Through season 6, we imagine Hannah working alongside Dwayne Pride and many of your other favorites to take down more cases on a local level. Season 5 got very big with Apollyon and that brought both Pride and Lasalle to a part of Eastern Europe. There wasn’t all that much of a big cliffhanger at the end of season 5 and through that, it gives the writers the ability to reset things and move in some new directions.

In general, we’re hoping that season 6 can visit even more iconic locations and dive into the music, the culture, and the lifestyle of this unique community. It’s done a great job of capturing the Big Easy style and traditions before and with Apollyon out of the way, it can do so again. Give viewers a chance to learn more of what it’s like to live there and introduce some threats impacting everyday men and women.
Of course, we will continue to put it out there that it would be great to see some sort of crossover again between this show and the flagship NCIS or even NCIS: Los Angeles — if we didn’t have 24 episodes a season, maybe we’d be a little less of the mind that it was something we needed. Because we do have so many episodes, however, that gives the show some flexibility and it would be fun to cross universes for the week or two.
