Supergirl season 5 spoilers: Andrea Brooks promoted to series regular
According to a new report from TVLine, the When Calls the Heart actress is going to be a series regular in the role of Eve. We’ve seen this character slowly rise through the ranks on this show for quite some time. She started off as an assistant at CatCo, and eventually during season 4 it was revealed that she had been in cahoots with Lex Luthor. She ended up being a key part of the conclusion to that season and now, she may also have a role in the series’ future. What’s going on? In the closing minutes of the finale, it was revealed that she has ties to the mysterious group Leviathan.
Within season 5, we’re going to have a chance to see more of what Leviathan brings to the series and what this means to Kara Danvers a.k.a. Supergirl’s future. This is going to be a secretive storyline if there ever was one, especially since as of right now, there are not many specifics out there when it comes to a Big Bad. Maybe that’s something that will revealed a little more when we get around to San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend — that is, after all, one of the best showcases for all things Arrowverse.
What we know already entering season 5 is that we’re going to be seeing Kara sporting a new costume; meanwhile, Dreamer may have a better understanding of her powers than ever before. You’ll also have a chance to learn more about some other supporting characters and we’re hoping to see Alex get even more personal stories moving forward.
New episodes of Supergirl season 5 are going to be airing on The CW this October, where it will be moving to its new timeslot — think in terms of 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, following the conclusion of new drama Batwoman. We imagine that there are more details coming on Eve’s future soon, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for other updates!
