Are You the One? season 8 episode 5 video: Jenna, Danny bond
At the moment, we know that things are pretty much done when it comes to Jenna and Kai. It’s better for her to move forward, and Danny is there to help her move forward! What we like about Danny is that he doesn’t look like the typical contestant on a reality dating show. In the sneak peek that CarterMatt has for you below we can see that this is a guy talking about hydrogen and helium, which may be the first time either was mentioned on a reality show since King of the Nerds went off the air. He comes across as so likable here! He also recognizes that this is one of his only chances to appeal to Jenna and he wants to see if there’s something there.
Based on just this preview alone, Jenna does seem to have some interest. She likes the way that Danny speaks about science and his interests — she’s also a big fan of Cosmos and has more interests than what you would first assume for a young person on a reality show. (Typically, the incorrect assumption is that they’re all about Instagram and nothing else.)
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here — this is an 80-second sneak preview to an episode that is going to have a lot of different stuff going on. We don’t want to offer up a guarantee that Danny’s going to end up being with her when nothing is guaranteed. What we know is that Jenna didn’t feel like Kai was a perfect match and he is someone who is very different than Kai. We think that they would be fun together, but we’ll see what the rest of the journey holds.
On a different note, here’s your reminder that tonight’s episode is going to feature some rumors about a “fivesome” — regardless of if that’s true, it does still make for a compelling reason to watch.
