Grand Hotel episode 6 preview: Hotel versus hotel

What is coming up on Grand Hotel episode 6? Be prepared for the battle of two hotels, the sort of thing that could put the familiar establishment in jeopardy. “Love Thy Neighbor” is the title for the upcoming episode and with a Biblical sort of reference at the center of it, we wonder all sorts of different things. Is love really going to be the answer for some of these different characters?

The hotel faces a few obstacles from a neighboring hotel while planning their gala fundraiser. Elsewhere, Mrs. P goes undercover; and Javi embraces his new fatherhood role despite his family’s hesitations.

If you love drama, isn’t there going to be a lot of that for Mrs. P? This could be one of our favorite parts of the whole season just because anytime that you put a character undercover who isn’t often there, you will see some chaos. It could be funny, and it may also lead to some big creative swings.

By the end of this episode, maybe we’ll get a chance to get a few answers on some of the different storylines that are in play … but probably not all of them. We have a long way to get to the end of all of this! We’re not even sure that all of the storylines that are going on here are even going to be resolved this season. There could be some cliffhangers and we don’t even know if there is going to be a second season just yet.

The biggest thing to be worried about with the long-term future of Grand Hotel right now comes via the show’s official ratings — after all, we have seen the numbers go down every single episode. If that trend continues, this hotel could be shutting down before the end of the year. If they start to level off, however, then you may be able to check in for more of an extended stay. We’ll monitor this more as things continue to move along with this show.
