Instinct season 2 episode 4 preview: Prepare for a ‘Big Splash’
Yet, we’ve got a good feeling that when this party first came together, murder was probably not meant to be a part of its theme! Odds are, it was meant more to be about happiness and young people spending some quality time around each other. Because of the murder, everyone is going to find themselves under a microscope and we’ll see exactly what that does to all of them.
Given that Instinct never likes to give you just the case-of-the-week without any other substance, we’ll have something more to explore in this episode, as well. Think in terms of Ryan and Lizzie finding themselves some progress.

“Big Splash” – A Sweet 16 celebration turns into a crime scene when the birthday girl’s stepmother falls to her death and the guests and staff are put under a microscope by the NYPD. Also, Ryan finds a new lead in his investigation, and Lizzie receives some positive news at the precinct, on INSTINCT, Sunday, July 21 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

How is Instinct faring? Are we feeling optimistic about a season 3? Not exactly, but CBS doesn’t have anyone to blame for it other than themselves. It’s a show that is stuck airing at a bad timeslot without all that much in the way of a supportive lead-in around it. The network just isn’t giving itself a lot of places for a show like Instinct to shine on Sunday nights during the summer. This past episode generated a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic, not any better than the week before.
