NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 premiere: Three things that it needs

NCIS: Los Angeles

What do we need to have a chance to see within the NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 premiere? Within this article, we come bearing some suggestions.

Let’s face it — we’ve had a lot of time to think this over through the past couple of months and we’re gonna have a lot of time still. Maybe in late August/early September CBS will start to put out a little more in the way of promotional material, but they’re not gonna do that anytime soon! Because of that, let’s go ahead and shift the focus of this article to this: Three things that we want to see in this premiere. These three things give us some closure, and also set up something more in terms of what season 11 should bring.

Some sort of conclusion to the Mac/Harm arc – We’d love to see David James Elliott and Catherine Bell on NCIS: Los Angeles in the future, but we know better to assume that they’ll be around forever. We just hope that this upcoming episode will give us an opportunity to explore a happier ending for the two of them than them not being together. Imagine waiting for a decade and a half plus to then realize that they’re not together … or, not imagine it because we already lived it.

An understanding of Nell and Eric’s future – It’s been confirmed already that Renee Felice Smith and Barrett Foa are both going to be returning to NCIS: Los Angeles season 11. With that in mind, it would be nice to see more story clarity. we hope it’s in the form of some sort of miracle for Nell’s mother so that she can come back to Los Angeles without any guilt or concern. That’s what we like to consider the best-case scenario … though we know that there are a lot of potential terrible ones out there, as well.

An update on Callen’s life – We know that there are some other series regulars in need of updates, but given what happened with Anna near the end of last season, we’d like to spend a few minutes checking in on Chris O’Donnell’s character and seeing where he’s at emotionally. Maybe the premiere could set the stage for a big Callen arc that runs through the first part of the season. If it’s not Anna-related, how about it be something totally new and exciting?
