Claws season 3 episode 6 video: Will Virginia choose Dean or EJ?
Before we get into that choice, though, it’s probably useful to note why she is in that position in the first place. Over the past couple of episodes, Dean’s been neglecting her — in addition to much of the rest of the world. He’s been so transfixed on what he’s got goin’ on over at the mahjong table that he isn’t paying attention to the people he loves. That frustration is causing her to look elsewhere for support … including over in EJ’s direction. She doesn’t recognize the ties that are there between EJ and Jenn and the hornet’s nest that she is about to kick over. Or, at least she didn’t realize it yet. Moving into Sunday night’s new episode, that’s when it looks like things are going to get crazier.
The Claws season 3 episode 6 promo below features Virginia getting caught in the act, the sort of thing that draws an immediate reaction from Jenn. It’s fair to say that she’s not a fan of this Virginia/EJ pairing and won’t be writing any fanfiction all about it. Maybe things would get better if someone could pry Dean away from Mac, Melba, and the casino, but that’s already showing itself to be easier said than done. This past episode, it seemed as though Desna had a way to do that via her and Dean’s biological father Calvin. Yet, Mac came up with a plan to embarrass him and push him further away from his father.
This episode could offer some clarity on a few different stories, or if nothing else, send these characters down a particular direction where there are more twists and turns coming their way. Our hope is that before Claws season 3 comes to a close, we’ll see where Virginia’s personal life lies and learn what Mac and Melba are trying to even do now. They’ve got Desna out of the casino at this point, so what’s the point of continuing to pester Dean?
