‘American Idol’ notes: Phillip Phillips, Adam Lambert, Haley Reinhart

The Wednesday edition of “American Idol” notes is here, and we’re kicking things off today with something that all fans of Phillip Phillips should appreciate looking at: the official album cover for his upcoming “The World From the Side of the Moon” album.

Here’s what we know about the disc at the moment (even if it is not much): the release date is currently set for November 19, and it will contain “Home” and some songs that sound somewhat similar to it as a way to appeal to some of the devoted fans that he already has. This collection will hopefully not only be a true expression of creativity, but some music that will also continue to allow him to have a presence on the radio. The great news here is that with “Home” still holding strong, he is going to have a rare opportunity to jump straight into another single similar to how David Cook did with “Time of My Life” and “Light On” four years ago.

Adam talks “Pretty Little Liars” gig – We’ve shown off some videos recently for Adam Lambert’s upcoming appearance on the hit ABC Family show, and now for good measure we are also starting to hear some of what the season 8 singer has to say about the gig itself.

In a new interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” Adam insisted that the one scene he shares with Lucy Hale on the show is actually going to focus more on his softer side rather than anything even remotely dangerous:

“I don’t suck blood her or anything. I’m friendly. I’m Adam Lambert dressed as a vampire. I’m not an actual vampire.”

This special airs on Tuesday night, and we will have more “Pretty Little Liars” scoop for all of you fans out there.

A new Haley performance – We know we’re a little late on this here, but we still have to share an excellent cover of “Can’t Find My Way Home” from the Room 5 Lounge in Los Angeles. It’s just so much fun to listen to.
