SEAL Team season 3 filming start date confirmed; what’s next?

SEAL Team

For those who are excited for SEAL Team season 3, here is another reason to be: In just a few more sleeps, filming for the CBS show will be back underway!

As confirmed by the show’s fantastic writers on Twitter (which we have for you to check out below), production on the latest batch of episodes will be starting off on Monday — a huge day when it comes to filming for several other shows on the network. This is when you’re going to see NCIS, Blue Bloods, and also SEAL Team start up work at about the same time and get you set for epic episodes starting up this fall.

So what’s going to happen moving into SEAL Team season 3? There’s a lot of mystery around that, given mostly that season 2 didn’t bring a bevy of big-time cliffhangers to the table. Instead, it brought Ray back to his family, showed Jason selling his house to put his daughter through college, and also allowed us to see a nice moment between Sonny and Davis who we are all in on. In season 3, you could see the show start off with an update as to what’s going on when it comes to some of these characters personally — and then kick off a series of professional missions that put them all in danger.

Season 3 is also where the writers face some of their biggest creative tests. At the time the new batch of episodes kicks off, you’ll have already seen dozens of missions. How do you find a way to make some of the remaining stories stand out? How can you extract danger that’s different from all of the previous extractions? These missions need to be action-packed, but also not over the top. The idea is to speak towards some of what real men and women in uniform go through, both in terms of being on the job as well as away from it.

When SEAL Team season 3 starts filming, fingers crossed the cast and crew give you a few behind-the-scenes teasers right away. If you head over to the link here, you can get more information now.
