It’s ironic that there is a show tomorrow entitled Love Island and yet, it feels like this show is becoming more of Love Island than anything else. It’s hard to even figure things out here — Jack and Analyse have a physical relationship and yet, both talk smack about each other. Then, Jack also has some sort of feelings for Christie, even though she’s into women, and Bella and Jackson have some sort of thing. Then, you’ve also got Jackson with whatever he’s got going on with Holly now. It’s frustrating and what we really want now more than anything else is an opportunity to just be able to dive into the game — that’s why we need someone outside of this power alliance to win HoH. They have the ability to change the perspective and the narrative.
Becuase of the way that things are going at the moment, the pecking order feels clear and it doesn’t seem like the plan is changing — Kemi is going to Camp Comeback. There are seven people within Gr8ful and they control things. Then, you’ve also got Kat, who is fairly close to Jessica on a personal level. It doesn’t matter what Cliff, Bella, and Sam want since they’re so outnumbered that nothing matters.
There is still time for things to change but right now, we’re not expecting anything huge. Sometimes in the early going, it’s hard to mount a resistance when you’re on the outside of the numbers. There are just too many minds within the game that you need to change and some of them are all blindly following the leader — in this case, that leader is Jack.
