Claws season 3 episode 6 preview: ‘Fly Like an Eagle’
There is an argument that a lot of this story is ridiculously over-the-top — but many things when it comes to Claws as a series are. We are talking here about the story of a guy who is being coerced into sticking around the casino and feeding into the addiction that he so obviously has to being at that mahjong table. It’s a place where he can find a personal sense of order, though the obvious consequence of this “order” is that it brings chaos to every single part of his life elsewhere. It puts him in a terrible position when it comes to his relationship with Virginia and we’re not sure that we’re going to see that change all that much as we move forward — at least so long that Mac has Dean in his clutches.
So what else is going to be coming? Check out the official Claws season 3 episode 6 synopsis with some other insight:
After successfully leveraging what she knows about Governor Patel in an attempt to win her brother back, a victorious Desna (Niecy Nash) returns to the casino, only to learn that Dean (Harold Perrineau) is more entranced under Mac (Michael Horse) and Melba’s (Rebecca Creskoff) spell than she realized.
If the information that Desna has on Governor Patel doesn’t work, what will? What she really needs to do at this point is get a little bit more information on Mac himself. He is the only person who can be shaken at this point and he is the one pulling many of the strings. While it seems like he does have a certain affection for Dean, we feel like his desire to keep him around goes more than that. We think that it is tied a little bit more to him wanting control. So long as Dean is in his clutches, it’s going to be hard for anyone to do anything about him being there.
