Snowfall season 3 spoilers: Cast, crew line up story ahead
In the video over at the link here, you can see Damson Idris and the rest of the cast talk a little bit about what’s coming up story-wise. For Franklin, he’s doing everything that he possibly can in order to figure out how to keep this business going — and he’s even making it a family affair with his mother. The crack empire in Los Angeles is starting to explode and because of that, there’s an opportunity for Franklin to be so much more successful than ever before.
Consider Snowfall season 3 to be a story all about good and bad news. The good news for Franklin is that he’s got an opportunity to surge forward; yet, the trade-off here is that his business is going to get SO big that it’s going to explode outward. The target on his back is so different than anything that he’s experienced before. If he fails once, he could be dead — or someone close to him could be dead. There’s a real looking-over-the-shoulder sort of phenomenon that we’re going to be seeing for a good bit of the series from here on out. Now that Franklin’s not an underdog anymore we don’t know how you go back to a period of time in which he was. This is a new paradigm now and everyone else just has to accommodate to that.
As for what else is coming, be prepared for Leon to really establish himself as one of the biggest power players, as well, throughout South Central. The relationship between him and Franklin is going to be something interesting to watch … though, of course, it’s already been a point of curiosity for us.
The first two seasons did a great job of laying the groundwork for what this show could be and some of the various twists and turns could be. Now that the foundation is there, the writers have an opportunity to build something truly epic, something that pays off everything that we’ve had a chance to see to date.
