SWAT season 3 filming starts Monday, Shemar Moore confirms
In a new post below via Shemar Moore’s Instagram, the actor confirmed the oh-so-great news that production begins on Monday. It’s one of the first CBS shows to kick off production for the new batch of episodes, and it’s one that is going to be every bit as action-packed as the ones that came before. While we know that there are plenty of CBS series out there that focus on crime and the good guys who stop it, SWAT feels like an action movie every week with high-level stunts and shootouts and explosions galore.
Moving into season 3, there are also some specific questions to think about when it comes to the individual characters. Take, for example, whether or not we’re going to see Jessica around after her decision in the season 2 finale, and also there are questions about what Hondo’s own work life is going to look like. There are a lot of things that we really should be wondering about through this batch of episodes; we just hope that it culminates with some exciting developments and gives us a chance to see and learn some new stuff about these team members that we didn’t know already.
When SWAT comes back this fall, it will be doing so as a part of an exciting two-hour block. It’s on a new timeslot Wednesday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time and will be paired with SEAL Team, another action-heavy show that features a familiar face in the starring role in David Boreanaz. It’s easy to draw similarities between the programs, with each revolving around an elite squad trying to balance out some difficult missions with personal lives that have their own share of highs and lows.
