Floribama Shore star Nilsa Prowant arrested during season 3 filming
According to a report from TMZ, the reality star was arrested in St. Petersburg, Florida (where the latest season is currently filming) after a night filled with allegedly disorderly behavior. Some of the chaos started when she reportedly flashed a crowd from a local balcony, but then after she was told to depart her location, she exhibited what was reported to be “erratic” behavior. The final straw came when she allegedly kicked in the rear driver-side window of a car that was meant to take her back to her temporary home. The site notes she was charged with disorderly conduct and exposure of sexual organs and was released on $400 bail earlier this morning.
As for whether or not this becomes a storyline in Floribama Shore season 3, it’s hard to imagine a scenario where it doesn’t become a storyline. How are the producers going to steer clear of this when they’ve focused on other legal problems in the past? It’s almost ironic that Nilsa was arrested during filming for season 3, as over on Jersey Shore Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was also arrested on its third season. Her incident was during the day as opposed to in the evening, but she certainly showed a pattern of disorderly behavior to the local police at the time that she was booked. We saw that process play out and we’re sure that for Nilsa, the same sort of thing is going to happen.
Floribama Shore is one of MTV’s more-popular series and while we don’t think anyone is applauding this arrest, we don’t honestly think it’s going to cause any harm to the series, either. It’s probably going to end up being one of the things that the network pushes in some of the various promotional teasers they put out as we get a little bit closer to the premiere.
