Fear the Walking Dead season 5 episode 6 video: Collaborations; end goals
Yes, we do understand already that this isn’t going to be the most exciting thing in the world for some. The kids are frustrating characters, people who we don’t know all that well other than that originally, they were fine to trick and dupe Morgan and the rest of the heroes. They’ve since coming around; as a matter of fact, the video below shows Annie collaborating with Morgan in order to make sure that everyone is okay at the truck stop. We’re not going to say that these kids have it good, per se, but they at least had some nice granola bars and TV.
Also, they have some friends who are going to watch out for each other. We think that the end of this sneak peek is meant to give you some hopeful vibes that Morgan’s crew and the kids are going to be able to find a way to work together. They all got together at the truck stop as they work with a singular goal: Fix the plane and get across the mountains together. It’s not going to be easy, but with their powers combined Captain Planet style, they can figure things out.

In giving some of these kids some specific responsibilities, we think that they will find a greater sense of power and purpose. We’ve seen already that they are capable of functioning and surviving in this world, and they can be useful with that in mind; we think that for them, the goal should be trying to balance out some of the survival skills that they have with also letting them be kids. Don’t harden them too much; they may be the most useful, and the most prepared for the future, with a sense of wonder and imagination still in tow.
