We’re nearing the end of day 11 in the Big Brother 21 house and at the moment, it’s as hard to read what’s going to happen as ever. The Veto Ceremony is likely coming sooner rather than later, so you have to hope that Christie is going to figure out exactly what she wants soon.
For now, here’s the plan — she doesn’t want Kemi to be evicted this week anymore. She feels as though Kemi hasn’t done anything to her and doesn’t want to do the dirty work of Jack and Jackson, the guys who have been the ringleaders behind the move for a while. She’s been simmering on the idea of keeping her for a while, as she feels as though Kemi hasn’t done anything to her and it makes little sense to evict someone who isn’t going to hurt her game.

So what is the plan instead? As of right now, Christie would prefer that the nominations stayed the same; that way, she doesn’t get any more blood on her hands and then Kathryn probably ends up leaving this week. Yet, Sam is the issue there since he technically has the Veto and can do whatever he wants. While he and Christie came up with a plan of what to do and say if he was confronted by various people, we don’t fully know where his head is at. He’s already told Cliff that he would Veto him and Christie’s change of heart means that he’s left in a tricky position — if he uses it, he is responsible for someone else’s eviction, and Christie doesn’t want to strong-arm him into fully doing whatever she wants. This means that Sam could use it and then Christie would nominate Ovi. Provided that there’s not some sort of big flip, Ovi would then be leaving.
We’d be sad to see Ovi go, as we like him and felt from the start like he wasn’t the same sort of player we’ve had in the house every single season of this show. He may just be the victim here of a last-minute change and not having any warning to do something about it. Sometimes, that just happens in the early going when the game starts to get a little bit crazy.
