‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ reunion: Caroline Manzo still hoping for peace
We have to give Caroline Manzo some serious credit at the moment. Why? Let’s just say that she is being far more patient than we could ever hope to be when it comes to the dysfunctional family we have seen fall apart pretty much throughout the entirety of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” season 4 (and in some ways really the season before that, as well).
So following the third part of the show’s reunion special, one that in many ways was just 45 minutes of women and their husbands screaming at each other and 15 minutes of commercials, what did the Manzo family matriarch have to say? In a post on her Bravo blog, Caroline to her credit really tried to trade in the spirit of negativity for something more optimistic as she explained that the thing she refuses to let go of is hope that things between her, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Kathy Wakile, and Jacqueline Laurita can all be worked out:
“This last episode was difficult to watch; in my heart of hearts I was hoping to see some sort of resolution to the chaos that has become our lives. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, but I’m choosing to continue to have faith in us. After all, we’re Jersey girls and we can survive anything! At least that’s what they say, right? RIGHT! Law of positive attraction.”
There are still some factions within this group that do manage to get along, but unfortunately they are really just everyone other than Teresa. This has caused a sort of gang mentality where she is frequently attacked, and regardless of whether or not she deserves it, it does not make for that compelling of television.
Are you as optimistic as Caroline is about the future of her family?
