Big Brother 21 live feed spoilers: The first nominations (day 8)

Christie Murphy

Tonight, the Big Brother 21 live feeds kicked off! That means that we had the first extended time to watch some of these players in their natural environment. There’s strategy talk, there was silliness, and of course, you had people who were a little too eager.

Let’s start things off, though, by sharing the nominations now that they’re set in stone: Kathryn and Cliff. If you think back to the audio leak from the weekend, it seemed like that was the way things were going to go. Kathryn seemed to be more of a target than Cliff, but there wasn’t enough context to know.

We’ll admit that we were hoping that there would be a lot of significant strategy talk within the first thirty minutes but, instead, there were a lot fun ‘n games watching people untangle themselves from human nots and also hearing some random stories from people. There weren’t any individual conversations, but there was a lot of watching people stand around, trying to untangle themselves. So, there’s that. It finally finished at around 10:11, and we want to evict whoever thought that this was going to be a good idea. This was horrible.

Who could be in trouble this week?

If the current state of the feeds are any indication, Kemi could be the target. She’s rubbing people the wrong way and causing trouble, which we wondered it could happen from the moment she decided against campaigning to Jackson when he was Camp Director.

As for who could be in danger down the road, it does seem like there’s some distrust with Jackson in the game. He claims that he will use the Veto if he wins, but he didn’t say early on who — Kathryn assumes it’s her but we’re not so sure on that. For Cliff, the best thing that he can do is just law low, not cause any problems, and just let other people sink their own game. Kathryn and Jackso did have a conversation after the game after the pretzel game and she expressed some of her concerns.

In this conversation between Jackson/Kathryn, we did get more insight that Kemi is the current backdoor target, though Ovi is apparently a secondary target. That’s sad, given that we picked him before the season and all. Kemi should be worried — very worried. It’s also worthwhile that Kathryn and Jackson are willing to talk about all of this with Cliff, so they’re fine discussing around him.
