The 100 season 6 episode 9 return date: Bob Morley’s big story

The 100 season 6

There are a couple of things worth noting in regards to The 100 season 6 episode 9, but let’s kick things off with the bad news. This is not an episode that you’re going to be seeing right away.

Because of its proximity, most likely, to the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, the Eliza Taylor – Bob Morley drama will not be back on The CW until Tuesday, July 9. The drawback to this is pretty clear: Typically, the summer means an opportunity to be able to check out new episodes, one right after the next. You don’t want there to be a whole lot of hiatuses or breaks in the middle of it. It’s even harder for a show like this, one that puts a premium on serialized storytelling where one episode bleeds into the next into the next. There’s been a lot of fascinating twists this season already, in between the uncharted landscape, the arrival of Josephine, and the questions of morality and identity that have been explored throughout.

The July 9 episode entitled “What You Take With You” should be able to pick up not long after the events of tonight. It will also give you one of Morley’s best stories of the season as he moves into a dangerous position.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the full synopsis for The 100 season 6 episode 9 with some other details as to what’s coming:

UNLIKELY COMPANIONS – Bellamy (Bob Morley) must venture into enemy territory with an unlikely companion. Meanwhile, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) is forced to confront her past. Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles and Shannon Kook star. The episode was directed by Marshall Virtue and written by Nikki Goldwaser (#609). Original airdate 7/9/2019.

Who doesn’t want a great showcase for Bellamy and Octavia both? One of the things that you should want throughout a season of any series like this is opportunities to dive into individual storylines for almost everyone. You want to see them all have a chance to shine and contribute to whatever the larger finale story will be … and the finale, at least in terms of episodes, is not all that far away. Consider this to be one of the unfortunate drawbacks to having a shorter episode order than most of the other stuff The CW has to offer.
