BET Awards 2019: Where to live stream red carpet pre-show

BET Awards

Tonight the BET Awards are airing starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, but this article’s not about that. Instead, what we’re here to do is build things up in terms of the live red-carpet pre-show, and where you can stream much of the action leading up to the big event.

So where should you be looking for more coverage? Think in terms of Entertainment Tonight’s ET Live, which is broadcasting a pre-show hosted by Kevin Frazier starting over at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time. You can get a little bit more news about it over at the link here. While not all of the celebrities at an awards show like this tend to walk the red carpet, many of them do and you should get a chance to hear from many of them as they talk about their lives, their careers, and some of what matters to them the most at this given point in time.

Consider all of this a perfect lead-up to the show itself, which begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern over on BET. Note that there is no free-to-view stream for the awards show online — if you do have a cable subscription, you can validate it over at the link here. Be sure to set aside plenty of time in your schedule tonight!

The show tonight is being hosted by none other than actress Regina Hall, and the line of performers is just about as fantastic as you would expect from a show like this. Via Billboard, here are some of the people who you can expect to see hit the stage: Meek Mill, Fantasia, Da Baby, Jeremih, Kirk Franklin, Erica Campbell, Kelly Price, Jonathan Mcreynolds and James Funk of Rare Essence, John Legend, DJ Khaled, YG, Cardi B, Migos, H.E.R., Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus (hey, Old Town Road), Lizzo, Mustard, Lil Baby, City Girls’ Yung Miami, Lucky Daye, and Kiana Lede.

As for the show’s presenters, you’re going to get a chance to see La La Anthony, Ayesha Curry, Larenz Tate, Amanda Seales, the Reverend Al Sharpton, Ryan Destiny, Jacob Latimore, Raphael Saadiq, Mike Colter, Damson Idris, Jodie Turner-Smith, Melina Matsoukas, Taraji P. Henson, Lena Waithe, Morris Chestnut, Yara Shahidi, and Marsai Martin. Think in terms of people from all sorts of fields of entertainment coming tonight for a night full of entertainment and also tributes.
