Big Brother 21 prediction: Who will win this season?

Big Brother 21

Who will win Big Brother 21? Just like we do before the start of every season of the CBS show, we’re back to offer some predictions.

So what do we like about this season as a whole? That seems to be a great place to kick off the discussion. Big Brother 21 is an exciting one, and it’s also one that is bringing forward a good bit of diversity in terms of backgrounds and perspectives. You’ve got superfans, casual fans, and series newbies all in this house, and we don’t think that one player necessarily screams “winner!” more than any other. This goes within our prediction that the season 21 victor isn’t necessarily going to come from a dominant alliance. We don’t think that this season is going to be anywhere near as predictable as any we’ve seen the past couple of years.

First person out – We almost hate ourselves for saying this, but we think that someone like Cliff is probably destined to go out really early on in the game. The season would absolutely be so much better if that doesn’t happen, but we’re talking about a show where older people are picked off early. Also, the competitions at the start of the season (if there is a day 1 elimination, anyway) often involve a physical component and he’s the odd person out almost right away because of that.

A lot of times early on in the season, people who stand out are easy targets just because they’re harder to relate to. In this group, that’s probably Cliff — which is ironic given that he’s one of the people we’re rooting for the hardest right now. He’s a fan of the game!

Who makes it far? – We liked Christie from the start and we wanted to like Sam, but we worry that he talks a little bit too much for his own good. We’re also intrigued by how Analyse will do as a player, given that she likes the game and is also a fairly physical competitor. She’s almost like Tyler in that she can probably mask how much she knows about Big Brother because of that. Yet, she’s know who we’re picking.

Winner pick – Ovi. There are a couple of things that make us worried about this pick. For starters, he is a little young, but we have seen younger people like Ian Terry pull this off before. Meanwhile, he is a little bit excitable and there are times where he may need to play it cool more. Yet, we think he’s an extremely smart guy who will do well in later challenges and have a great social game — he comes from the University of Tennessee, and it seems to be that he had friends there from all walks of life. He’s the most vulnerable in the early going but the longer he sticks around, the more likely he pulls this off in the end.
