So what’s coming up on ABC next week? Well, it seems like next week’s installment is going to pick up almost immediately where tonight’s capped off.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Agents of SHIELD season 6 episode 7 synopsis with more news as to what’s coming:
After finding themselves in yet another gambling dilemma, a mysterious stranger offers Enoch and FitzSimmons a ride home where, it turns out, two shrikes aren’t better than one.
We know that the shrikes are currently one of the biggest threats at the center of this season, as they are the mysterious race of aliens that Sarge is quite desperate in order to take down. There is so much we still have to learn about these aliens and what they want, so maybe this episode will serve as an opportunity to give us that and a whole lot more. We’re gearing up for what we hope is a larger reunion and a second half of the season that gives us a whole lot more of the people we want all in the same place. That’s not exactly something that we’ve had a whole lot of as of late and it’s certainly something we’re craving.
For those of you who did feel like tonight’s new episode spent a little bit too much time venturing off the beaten path (make no mistake, we loved it), next week may be a chance to make things up to you. This is a chance to see a story as relevant to the main story on earth as any that we’ve seen. Mack does now know and understand more of the shrike threat that humanity is up against, but that doesn’t quite mean that he knows how to stop it. That is information that hopefully, we’ll see illuminated over time.
