Bachelor in Paradise 6 cast (wave 1): Demi Burnett, Clay Harbor, & more

Bachelor in Paradise season 5 premiere date

On Monday morning, ABC finally busted out some of the Bachelor in Paradise cast after weeks of rumors … and there are a ton of familiar faces. Most of the people you would expect to be there are, though there’s one name that does catch our eye from the first seven announced. We’ll get into that in just a minute.

Remember that there will be some more names announced tonight during the premiere of Grand Hotel — if you want to hear more about some of the people currently rumored to be a part of this season, check out our latest video below! Blake Horstmann – Probably the most popular of the guys. Remember that there was a time when a lot of people wanted him to be The Bachelor. It went to Colton Underwood instead.

Cam Ayala – Always Be Cam, right? Mr. ABC is coming to the show, but we have a hard time imagining that he is going to be sticking around Paradise for a long period of time.

Clay Harbor – The NFL player, who famously got hurt on the show, is going to try to score some romance in his second go-around.

Demi Burnett – From the moment she was cast on Colton’s season, it was abundantly clear that this would end up being her endgame.

John Paul Jones – Basically, the male version of Demi insofar as casting goes. His facial expressions and love for chicken nuggets alone make him a star.

Tayshia Adams – She made it far on Colton’s season, and she’s one of the people we imagine Bachelor Nation really getting behind.

Bibiana Julian – We’ve seen a lot of her on Bachelor-related TV over the course of the past year or so — after all, she was on Arie’s season, Winter Games, and also Paradise. Yet, we do still root for.

Of this group…

We think Demi is, by far, the one that is primed to deliver the most entertainment. However, we’d say that Clay and also Tayshia are the ones most likely are going to find someone. We’d say Blake as well, but it’s almost TOO predictable to say Blake. We wouldn’t be shocked at all if he ends up being too popular for his own good and doesn’t make it to the end.

Obviously, it’d be the most fascinating if someone like Demi ends up finding someone just because she’s an unlikely choice. Paradise is fun sometimes because of the surprise factor — just think about some of the couples that have come out of it! Did you ever think that we would be seeing Evan and Carly get together from this? Yet they did, and they’re one of the most notable couples to come out of the franchise.
