Bachelor in Paradise season 6 cast reveal date, time revealed
The first wave of cast members for the upcoming season are currently down in Mexico causing just as much craziness as you would expect, and for ABC, they will announce some of them on Good Morning America between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. Eastern time on the aforementioned date. That’s a way for them to kick off the day the Bachelor Nation way — by revealing big news probably hours before any Bachelor in Paradise cast member is probably awake. (With the sort of partying that goes on there, we imagine that there’s some sort of beach hangover going on.) Later that day, some other cast members will be revealed during the premiere of Grand Hotel, which starts at 10:00 p.m. Eastern following the latest episode of The Bachelorette.

So why make the cast reveal into some sort of all-day thing? It’s probably a frustrating thing for people who just want to know everyone immediately, but if we had to guess, a part of this is probably just ABC wanting to avoid spoilers before Monday’s new Bachelorette airs. As many of you probably know, there are people on Bachelor in Paradise this summer who are currently a part of Hannah Brown’s season, and some of the participants may still be a part of that show. Maybe a couple of them are eliminated on Monday night’s new episode.
In the end, we wouldn’t really think it would matter if they announced a couple of spoilery names early! There are a lot of rumored cast members already out there on social media already, and it’s not like Bachelor in Paradise is going to cast someone who makes it all the way to the top three on this current season. Typically, the farthest that Bachelor in Paradise will go is casting the person in fourth place. We saw that with Colton Underwood.
Want to know one thing we’ve also learned over the years? Bachelor in Paradise is not made successful so much by the individual cast members, but rather what they do when they’re on the show. We think they just gotta hope that no matter who they cast, there’s some good drama.
