We are going to be without Klaus for an episode on “The Vampire Diaries” moving forward, but that does not mean that you should expect the character to fall by the wayside by any means. Not only will Joseph Morgan’s character be returning to the show very soon to enact some more havoc in Mystic Falls, but he will be angrier than ever. Then again, can you really blame the guy? All you have to do is just look at some of what he has gone through as of late. First and foremost, he was transferred into Tyler’s body, and Caroline figured it out before he had the opportunity to really do any of what he probably wanted to do with her. Then, Rebekah destroyed some (but not all) of the last valuable blood that he needed in order to continue cultivating his army of hybrids.
So what comes next for this character specifically? As a part of a new interview with “The Insider,” executive producer Julie Plec was kind enough to divulge just a few details of what Joseph Morgan’s character will in fact be up to next:
“Klaus returns in episode three with a bit of a vengeance – he’s pissed off and resentful that all these people bound themselves together to defeat him. He won’t let them off the hook very easily and by the end of episode three, we start to get a sense that Klaus is putting together some pieces that the rest of our heroes aren’t, that gives him a window into this new season four mythology. That makes him a very important player in this new season.”
What we do like about this quote is that it suggests strongly that Klaus will be very much where is traditionally best: in a position of power. So long as he remains dangerous, we know that he will be a force to be reckoned with both in Mystic Falls and beyond.
What do you think about this news when it comes to Klaus? If you want some more on the future for both Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), all you have to do is visit the story that we have up over at the link here.
