‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Another look ahead at episode 3

Sadly, we did not have to joy of watching a new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” on Thursday night thanks largely to the Vice-Presidential debate that was airing across multiple networks; but is there still plenty to get excited about when it comes to Seattle Grace? Definitely.

Really, there is just one theme to really look at when it comes to the new promo for both the upcoming episodes of both this show and another Shonda Rhimes production in “Scandal”: there is going to be a ton of romance. By “a ton,” we more or less mean that the cup will runneth over and the censors may at least be on alert. There is plenty of action between April and Jackson in the clip, but they are fare from the only Seattle Grace doctors showing some feelings for someone else. We’re just excited not to see the evolution of some of these characters now that the plane crash is finally in the past (even though it will never be forgotten). Will it still take a little bit of time for Arizona to forgive Callie? Yes, but we’re hopeful that she will. As for some of the other couples to watch at the moment, they include Alex (who is going to go on quite the romantic journey of his own this year) along with a couple that longtime fans of the show have come to adore in Meredith and Derek.
