‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: The pacing will be…

On Sunday night, “The Walking Dead” is going to be back for its third season, and for those of you wondering whether or not this is going to be more like season 2A or 2B, here’s some good news: if you liked the fast pace of the final two episodes of the spring, then you are going to be in love with what executive producer Glen Mazzara and the writers have come up with this time around.

Speaking per TVLine while at the show’s premiere party this week, a number of the show’s cast members confirmed that really, the speed of this season is going to be relentless: there will be action happening in just about every episode, and the moment you start to feel safe will be the moment where things really start to go off the rails again. (Thus far, the sneak peeks have really managed to reflect that.) In addition to that, we will also see plenty of examples of the “fear the living” slogan that the show has come up with for the new year. Not only are we going to see Woodbury, but The Governor is going to be just as frightening as you would expect him to be based on the Robert Kirkman graphic novels. The most terrifying villains are always the ones with the greatest amount of charisma, and there are going to be a number of reasons why David Morrissey’s character was allowed to succeed to his post.

Are you all about the fast pace of the latter part of season 2, or did you actually prefer the season more when it slowed down, even in spite of some of the criticism poured upon it by fans?
