Amanda Holden drops f-bomb on Britain’s Got Talent live show
We know that there are a lot of super-cynical people out there, but we legitimately feel like Amanda Holden was terrified during the performance of The Haunting — hence, why she dropped said f-bomb in the middle of the act. If anyone is stunned like that, it’s hard not to curse, and it actually made it a little more genuine in our eyes. Of course, we recognize fully that there are going to be apologies aplenty made on the other side of this, and probably a number of complaints as well.

Ultimately, though, we actually do hope that nobody gets too bent out of shape about this — it was obviously not planned, and it went by so quickly we’re not even sure that every single person out there really even noticed. (Or, at least they may not have before the show spent at least a minute or two just apologizing for it after the fact.)
This is far from the first time that something a little bit unexpected has happened on Britain’s Got Talent — after all, we’ve seen eggs thrown at Simon Cowell just as we’ve seen some other incidents of swearing.
The funniest part of this is that after the super-scary act The Haunting and Amanda dropping the f-bomb, we had Flakefleet, the primary school choir who got a golden buzzer from David Walliams. That may have been enough to cause a lot of relief to some people … at least if you like the choir’s brand of crazy happiness.
