Is NCIS: Los Angeles new tonight on CBS? Season 11 expectations

NCIS: Los Angeles

Is NCIS: Los Angeles new tonight on CBS? We wish that we could say that it was but, unfortunately, we’re gearing up for a hiatus — and a rather lengthy one, at that. Last week marked the season 10 finale and, while we know already that there is a season 11, we don’t exactly think that this is going to make waiting for it all the easier.

With that being said, we hope that this article serves almost as a helping hand. After all, within this, we’re mapping out some of our expectations for what season 11 could be — including some of the major things you’re left to wonder about and expect.

More Mac and Harm – We’re well aware of the fact that the two characters aren’t going to become series regulars and frankly, they shouldn’t be — they’ve had their own show. It’s certainly possible they could again! For now, though, we just think that the NCIS: Los Angeles writers need to conclude the story set up in the season 10 finale, especially since there were so many people upset over the fact that the two weren’t actually together romantically.

What’s happening with Callen’s personal life? – In the wake of Anna staying outside of the United States, where does that leave him now? His personal life has always been complicated, but moving forward, we foresee it being even muddier unless the producers actually spend some time shedding some light on it.

The state of Nell’s mother – What happens to her is obviously going to frame whatever future she and Eric have in Los Angeles, and it’s delicate the way that it’s been written — we obviously want to see Nell stick around Los Angeles, but we also don’t want to root for anything terrible to happen with her mother. Ideally, we want to root for some sort of medical miracle where she ends up being okay and Nell and Eric are able to stick around the City of Angels.

Will Sam stay with the team long-term? – We know that the guy is entertaining the idea of eventually going off the grid for a bit more of a non-traditional approach to fighting crimes — given some of what he’s lost and the sense of isolation he seems to crave, we can foresee him being somewhat of a man without a home at some point. We just hope that it’s not anytime soon, or that he finds some reasons to ground himself again … including potentially a relationship with Nicole.

What’s next for Kensi and Deeks? – The two are married, so what’s the next phase of the plan? We don’t think that they need to rush into having kids in the immediate future, but they probably do need to continue having conversations about being in such dangerous jobs that could cause any kids they have to be without a parent. It’s one of the most realistic conversations that we’ve seen on the show.
