V.Unbeatable rock America’s Got Talent auditions in video preview
In the video below, you can see the group from Mumbai, India’s first audition in front of the judges, including newcomers Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough. Suffice it to say, we think that it’s pretty well-received. It’s artistic, well thought-out, but also incredibly athletic.

So what do we admire about it the most? At the moment, one of the biggest things may just be the group and their incredible ability to concentrate on every single move and make sure that they don’t collide with each other along the way. That’s not easy. They are throwing multiple people in the air and it’s all so well-orchestrated. There’s also some originality here with the incorporation of some of the wooden planks — one of the issues that we often have with group dance acts is that they all just look and feel like each other when they don’t have to. There are always ways that you can change things up and this group basically proves that from start to finish here.
Ultimately, the sky’s the limit for this group, and it’s certainly possible that they get a Golden Buzzer on the other side of all of this. While in the past NBC didn’t reveal their Golden Buzzer auditions in the past before the show aired, this could be their way to throw people off the scent this time around. One thing that we certainly appreciate is them not referring to this audition as a “leak” in the preview video, given that this is something that they did with regularity in the past even though there was no real reason for them to do so.
For now, let’s just celebrate the fact that there is already some great, diverse talent on this upcoming season. While we know that there are some who object to AGT these days being so much more international than it was in the past, we welcome it — for starters, this is a chance to really spotlight incredible people from all over the world who won’t get a chance otherwise. Also, opening up the competition to the world effectively gives you a chance to see the best talent possible.
