Is SEAL Team new tonight? More finale preparations

SEAL Team

Is SEAL Team new tonight on CBS? We know that there’s a desire out there to see how things turn out — and there is absolutely a lot of story left to tell here at the same time.

Just think about everything that is left for this show to try and wrap up before the finale ends up airing over on CBS. There needs to be a proper way in which to tie together what’s happening with Ray, and whether or not he can get back to his normal self. Meanwhile, Clay is going to do everything that he can in order to make sure that Brett Swan didn’t die in vain, as he is going to continue to do everything that he can in order to raise awareness for those suffering from traumatic brain injuries that are initially not diagnosed.

Is there a chance that there will be a big cliffhanger at the end of all of this? You have to consider that a strong possibility, mostly because we are talking about the finale here and this is something that, more often than not, tends to happen with these sort of shows.

Unfortunately, it seems like we’re going to have to wait for a while to learn about what’s coming beyond what we’ve spelled out — think in terms of another week. There is no new episode tonight due to the Survivor three-hour finale coming up on the air. There is also no new episode of The Amazing Race, either. Both of these shows will return next week, and with that, we’ll get a good chance to dive into those worlds again then.

At least we know that, no matter what happens within the SEAL Team finale, you’re going to get a season 3 on the other side of it. We’re also happy to know that, thanks to the fall-schedule announcement that took place a little bit earlier in the day, that the series will be back next fall and in its old timeslot of 9:00 p.m. Eastern on Wednesdays. Even if the series isn’t exactly killing it when it comes to live+same-day ratings, we do think that this is a HUGE vote of confidence and a sign that CBS does clearly believe in SEAL Team and everything that it’s bringing to the table at this point — whether it be quality or the message that it is sending about supporting our vets and active-duty military. We’ll see what happens in the future.
