The NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 finale will air on CBS next week, and leading into it, one thing is certainly standing out: The return of Catherine Bell as Mac! The JAG fun started tonight with the first appearance by David James Elliott as Harm in years, and this sense of fun and adventure is going to carry over to what we have a chance to see next time around with his former co-star.
This episode will prove to be fun, but it’s going to also have a lot of important stuff going down — for some more information all about it, check out the synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:
“False Flag” – Callen and Sam work with Navy Captain Harmon “Harm” Rabb, Jr. (David James Elliott) to locate a group of ISIS sympathizers aboard the USS Allegiance. Also, Hetty enlists her friend, Lieutenant Colonel Sarah “Mac” Mackenzie (Catherine Bell), to help obtain information from a Russian diplomat, on the 10th season finale of NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, May 19 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The first part of this that we love is that Hetty and Mac are friends — we don’t know why, but there’s just something incredibly appealing about that. She’s going to prove useful in helping to resolve what is becoming a global crisis. For Harm, he’s going to be trying to uproot some dangerous people aboard his own ship. Meanwhile, Mac will be helping from afar.
We don’t think that we have to tell you that NCIS: Los Angeles will be disappointing people aplenty if they don’t put Elliott and Bell into at least one scene together, and we certainly think that this is something that will happen! Yet, alongside whatever happens within the JAG part of this story, there are some other questions worth wondering. Take, for example, whether or not Nell and Eric stick around with the team long-term, or if we do end up seeing one of the other main characters make a surprising decision or two. We wouldn’t be shocked if there is a cliffhanger, mostly because that is something that we’ve seen this show be more than happy to do over the past several weeks. (At least we know already that a season 11 renewal is coming!)
