NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 22 video: Prepare for Cuba

Sunday night’s NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 22 is venturing off to an exciting destination — think in terms of someplace warm, someplace tropical, and also someplace that could be chock full of criminal activity. Unfortunately for the team, we can’t quite say that Cuba is an idyllic spot in the slightest. There’s some bad stuff awaiting them there, but Callen can also put a specific goal into his crosshairs — trying at all costs in order to ensure that he finds Anna Kolcheck.

So why in the world is she there, especially when last we heard, she was on a plane trip to Russia? That’s the focus at the START of the sneak peek below, one that does offer you up a tremendous amount of insight into how she didn’t have the fuel to make it all the way to Europe. Beyond just that, though, there are probably some other parts of this plan that, at least for the time being, the NCIS team don’t quite know.

Anna is a tough nut to crack — she’s incredibly intelligent, she knows how to function in any environment, and she’s absolutely as smart as they come. She’ll take advantage of just about every opportunity that she can in order to ensure that she achieves her mission — it’s certainly something that she’s been plotting for a while. She’d had plenty of time to think about it behind bars! If there’s one person who may be able to get through to her, it’s Callen — unfortunately, it’s going to be pretty darn hard given that his efforts to speak with her at the end of this past episode were pretty far from successful.

So what else is coming in this episode? Well, you’re going to have a chance to see in here the return of Joelle, a character who definitely has a fan base of her own! We’ve had a chance to see already this season, but it’s certainly been a while and we’ve been left waiting to speculate precisely what her future could hold — including if there is any future with Callen. We don’t want to call this season with Joelle, Anna, and Callen a love triangle — this isn’t a soap opera, but there are obviously still questions worth asking when it comes to G.’s future. We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it; the first issue that really needs to be front of mind here is just making sure that the Anna mission is properly resolved.
