The Voice song spoilers for Jej Vison, Maelyn Harmon, Mari, Selkii, top 24

The Voice

Want to know some of the first The Voice song spoilers for the top 24 leading into this week’s shows, coupled with more insight all about them? Rest assured, we’ve got all of that within this piece! We’re going to be breaking down which artists and teams seem to be set up the best — beyond of course the obvious that Adam Levine is somehow screwed because he’s only for four artists still on the show.

For some videos when it comes to The Voice, check out some of the latest at the bottom of this article! For some more news, subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube and take a look at our official playlist.

Thanks to Mjsbigblog for compiling the list. We’ll have our breakdown of the individual performances at the conclusion of each team.

Domenic Haynes – Team Adam Levine – Love is a Losing Game by Amy Winehouse
Mari – Team Adam Levine – Work it Out by Beyonce
Kalvin Jarvis – Team Adam Levine – Mine by Bazzi
Betsy Ade – Team Adam Levine – Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet

None of these are terrible choices — Domenic’s is actually phenomenal and he could do some really cool stuff with it. What you really have to wonder here is mostly if Adam having less team members is going to help him or not. At least Betsy’s doing a familiar rock number and for Mari, she’s singing one of the most aspirational artists out there.

Jej Vinson – Team Kelly Clarkson – Love Lies by Khalid ft Normani
Presley Tennant – Team Kelly Clarkson – Nothing Breaks Like a Heart by Mark Ronson
Rebecca Howell – Team Kelly Clarkson – Wild One by Faith Hill
Matthew Johnson – Team Kelly Clarkson – Ordinary People by John Legend
Rod Stokes – Team Kelly Clarkson – Midnight Rider by Allman Brothers
Abby Kasch – Team Kelly Clarkson – I Got the Boy by Jana Kramer

You know that someone is going to make a big deal out of Matthew doing a John Legend song — one of his best songs, in fact! Great choices in here for Jej, Rebecca, and Presley in particular. Kelly’s always done a reasonably good job at this, which is why he’s been so successful on the show.

Maelyn Jarmon – Team John Legend – Fallingwater by Maggie Rogers
Celia Babini – Team John Legend – The Chain by Fleetwood Mac
Shawn Sounds – Team John Legend – Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder
Jimmy Mowery – Team John Legend – Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer
Lisa Ramey – Team John Legend – The Weight by The Band
Jacob Maxwell – Team John Legend – Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler

This is John’s first season, so we’re going to try to forgive him for throwing out there predictable Bonnie Tyler and Stevie Wonder songs. Some of the others are a little more inspired; the Maggie Rogers choice for Maelyn, one of the favorites at this point, is perfect.

Gyth Rigdon – Team Blake Shelton – I Want to be Loved Like That by Shenandoah
Dexter Roberts – Team Blake Shelton – Ain’t Nothing ‘Bout You by Brooks & Dunn
Selkii – Team Blake Shelton Iris by Goo Goo Dolls
Carter Lloyd Horne – Team Blake Shelton – Heartbreak Hotel by Elvis Presley
Oliv Blu – Team Blake Shelton – The Girl from Ipanema by Stan Getz
Kim Cherry – Team Blake Shelton – Waterfalls by TLC
Andrew Sevener – Team Blake Shelton – Boots On by Randy Houser
Kendra Checketts – Team Blake Shelton – Bad Guy by Billie Eilish

So, apparently, Kim Cherry’s just going to do a lot of TLC during her time on the show. Clearly, that’s how this is rolling! We like the Elvis song for Carter (he can actually pull it off), and the big question mark is having Selkii do “Iris,” quite possibly one of the most overdone songs in the recent history of singing shows everywhere.
