The Voice results: Did Jej Vinson, Rebecca Howell, Julian King advance?

The Voice

Tonight, The Voice is airing its second results show of the season! Tonight, we’ll get to see steals, saves, and more following the latest Cross Battles.

We’ll be updating this particular article throughout the night, so be sure to come back and refresh the page soon for some more news! We also have an official The Voice video playlist for more scoop you don’t want to miss.

LB vs. Jej Vinson – Almost immediately, Adam reminds everyone that he used both his steal and save already. Easy way to excuse himself from having to let anyone down tonight, right? Jej advanced, which Kelly Clarkson was very much pleased with. LB, unfortunately, was eliminated.

Kendra Checketts vs. Jimmy Mowery – This was a current Team Adam member facing off against a former one in Jimmy, who is now a part of Team Legend. We thought that Kendra was significantly better on the night, but America still saved Jimmy and Adam lost yet again. Not a lot of good results for him this year. Here’s the good news: Blake stole Kendra!

Shawn Sounds vs. Karly Moreno – We wish that we could tell you that this was a surprise but here’s the truth: It wasn’t. Shawn is a serious contender to win the whole show and Karly, while unique, just didn’t have the necessary power to make it through on a show like this.

Carter Lloyd Horne vs. Jacob Maxwell – We thought that Carter was the pretty-clear winner here on the night, and apparently, most of The Voice voting public felt the same way as he got the pass through moving forward on Team Blake. Meanwhile, Jacob still has a chance moving forward, given that John used his Save on him!

Kalvin Jarvis vs. Julian King – Hey, Adam actually got another team member! We were starting to think that he was going to be stuck at three. Kalvin deserved to win and he did, but at the same time, we’re going to miss Julian since we loved his energy over the course of the season.

Rebecca Howell vs. Beth Griffith-Manley – Beth’s a gem. She’s so talented and she so deserved this opportunity, but let’s also be honest here that she was competing against a country singer on Team Kelly. She never really had much of a chance.

Gyth Rigdon vs. Abby Kasch – We don’t think that there was much of a surprise here, given that this was close to the final showdown of the night. Gyth won and because Kelly still had one more steal, she went ahead and used it to keep Abby in the competition. Granted, Kelly does still have one more act…

Andrew Sevener vs. The Bundys – The final showdown and one that made us wonder whether or not Kelly made a mistake in not saving The Bundys. Because Andrew moved on, we’re thinking that she may have. The Bundys are more original!
