NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 22 preview: All about ‘Chaos Theory’

NCIS: New Orleans season 4 premiere

Next week, NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 22 will be airing on CBS, and continuing with it a rather-welcome run of new episodes that we’re currently in the midst of. While the flagship show may have been off the air tonight, the spin-off isn’t and the momentum continues as we inch towards a big finale. It’s one that we’re expecting a lot of chaos during … but ironically, we have an installment entitled “Chaos Theory” to get through first.

If you missed it, be sure to check out the latest on the NCIS: New Orleans season 6 renewal at the bottom of this article! Meanwhile, remember to subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube and also view our official franchise playlist. We’ve got some more scoop coming up that you don’t want to miss.

Within this particular episode next week, one of the things you’re going to have a chance to see is one of the most intense cases that, to be frank, we’ve seen through the run of this show. It’s not just about one body; it’s about something that could’ve led to the death of more people than the city could have possibly imagined.

Below, CarterMatt has the official NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 22 synopsis with some additional info all about what’s coming:

“Chaos Theory” – The NCIS team investigates a deadly bombing at a military museum event with over 1,000 people in attendance, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, April 30 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This is one of those episodes that, based on the limited information we have, seems to be almost entirely about the investigation. It’s just a chance to see how NCIS: New Orleans handles what is probably going to be a high-profile case, which is something that they’ve got somewhat of a mixed history doing. While we think that Dwayne Pride is the sort of guy who is respected around the city for some of his heroism, he’s also the sort of guy may be thought of sometimes as a rogue. We’d hope that the city would have his back, given the precise nature of this upcoming investigation, but it’s hard to really guarantee anything and feel confident about it until we actually see this story come on the air.

One more thing we can say with confidence is simply this: “Chaos Theory” is the last, unattached NCIS: New Orleans episode we’re going to get in season 5. Following this week, everything that we’re getting is going to be tied to Apollyon — it’s certainly possible that this case will be, as well, but on the surface, we don’t want to jump to THAT sort of conclusion.
