The Flash season 5 episode 20 preview: ‘Gone Rogue’ & Cisco’s decision

Flash season 4

Next week on The Flash season 5 episode 20, you’re going to have “Gone Rogue” — a title that is exciting within itself. This means a chance to see the return of some of the latest “rogues,” a returning array of villains who wreck havoc in Barry Allen’s life. Because so many of these actors all go on to do other things, it’s been pretty hard for the writers to be able to bring back some of them for multiple occasions. At least in this episode, we’re going to see two of the more interesting ones this season plus also the long-awaited return of Emily Kenney as Brie Larvin! It’s been a long time since the “Bug-Eyed Bandit” (or the show’s version of the character) came on board, but she is more than welcome here.

This is an episode that in one way, could be about rage — yet, it could also be about trying to find a way to contain some of that rage for long enough to take out a series of notable baddies. You don’t want Central City running wild with rogues for longer than it has to.

For some more information now, we suggest that you check out The Flash season 5 episode 20 synopsis for some more information on what’s coming:

WEATHER WITCH, QUEEN BEE AND RAG DOLL RETURN TO CENTRAL CITY – Barry (Grant Gustin) continues to struggle with how he feels about Nora’s (Jessica Parker Kennedy) betrayal. Brie Larvan (guest star Emily Kinney), Joss Jackam (guest star Reina Hardesty) and Peter Merkel (guest star Troy James) return to Central City. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) makes a bold decision. Kristin Windell directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Joshua V. Gilbert (#520). Original airdate 4/30/2019.

There are a few different questions that you should be wondering as this episode starts to creep up…

What is happening with Nora? – Tonight, she is going to be learning about the Negative Speed Force, which is something that could prove to be very much harmful to her personality. Sure, it’s wonderful that she has found a way to go back and see her father, but the Negative Speed Force also comes with some key disadvantages — take, for example, what it does to your personality.

How will these three villains work together? – Given that they don’t have all that much in terms of a tangible connection with each other, we wouldn’t be shocked if they start fighting each other just as much as they start fighting Barry and the rest of Team Flash.

Finally, what is Cisco deciding on? – Is it something that could have some enormous ramifications on his future with the STAR Labs team? Come this point in the run of a series, we’re almost always worried…
