‘American Idol’ notes: Adam Lambert, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez

We have some more of the latest “American Idol” news yet again worth sharing, and on this occasion we are breaking from the mold a little bit and doing so in the evenings.

A new Adam Lambert performance – We’ll start things off with a performance from Adam on the popular 80’s Show in China, which he visited while he was in the country in order to perform on the finale of the country’s version of “The Voice.” On this show, he chose to bust out a performance of one of his new single in “Trespassing.”

Personally, we love that Adam is getting the opportunity to continue to promote his music overseas, especially in a market that has so much untapped potential. Is this Adam’s first step towards even greater success in the country? We actually think it’s his third or fourth, and more opportunities will hopefully arise from this.

Phillip Phillips recording note – In case you were wondering just how invested Phillip is when it comes to the recording of his upcoming debut album, know this: the guy is even working on Sundays.

In a new post on Twitter, the reigning champ confirmed that he is in the process of laying down a track that is one of his favorites off of his debut album. This disc should be made available in stores beginning at some point early next year. (Update: Phillip tweeted that the album is now actually coming out in late November!)

Is there a new Jessica Sanchez photo shoot coming? – We already know that Jessica has had the opportunity to do some pretty incredible things in the Philippines, and it appears that a major photo shoot here in America is next on the slate.

As a new photo over at Mjsbigblog shows, it appears as though Phillip’s runner-up is working on a new photo shoot for Seventeen magazine, but it’s too early in the process for this to be confirmed yet.
