SEAL Team season 2 episode 19 preview: Who’s in the casket?

SEAL Team

Want to know some of what’s next on SEAL Team season 2 episode 19? On the surface, it feels like “Medicate and Isolate” is going to be a Kleenex episode. In other words, stock up on them before you watch — you’re probably going to need them. We’ve dealt with a lot of tough circumstances as of late with this show, whether it be with the state of Clay, Ray’s emotional decline, or what could be spotlighted in particular in this episode for Brett Swan.

As SEAL Team has shown off time and time again at this point, the struggles of being a Navy SEAL are ones that don’t just stop when you come back home. A lot of times, the adjustment to real life is harder than anything. You’re having to get yourself back on track in a world that is very different than where you’ve recently been — the same rules don’t apply and if you’ve been through trauma, not everyone else is going to recognize it. Therefore, they may not know, in turn, as to how to properly deal with it.

Consider this episode on the surface to be an emotional spotlight for Tony Curran’s character, but there’s also going to be a separate mission going down at the same time. We’re heading far away from the show’s recent setting in the Philippines, which means that there could be a new story starting up with a number of differences to where we’ve been as of late. Check out the official SEAL Team season 2 episode 19 synopsis for more:

“Medicate and Isolate” – While Bravo Team is on a recovery mission in Mali, their friend, former Navy SEAL Brett Swan (Tony Curran), continues to struggle with his mental health, Wednesday, April 24 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

(For the record, we wondered if “Medicate and Isolate” was some specific terminology for something we were not aware of — the only thing we could really find is that it’s an album by the group Seether.)

This is not a synopsis that is really picking up on a lot of the major threads that have been addressed on the show as of late, but it also really doesn’t need to. If you like SEAL Team, then you already know full well what’s been going on with this show. You know of some of the struggles we’ve been seeing for Bravo Team, and also some of the things going on for characters back home. Jason’s still gotta try to cement the future of his family after everything that he’s been through so far this season.

There are only four more episodes to go this season; go ahead and be prepared for the writers to jam-pack as much as possible into those! These stories should be a gateway to some great stuff coming up in the event we do get that season 3 renewal.

Based on the promo below…

Someone will lose their life. We don’t necessarily think it’s a major character, but you have to be prepared for anything in the world of this show.
