‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: A new character coming soon

There are some big things coming up on “Once Upon a Time” this season, but when it comes to some of them, you are going to have to wait for quite a while to find out some more details.

One prime example of this? A major character that is coming in the second half of the season, and someone we may not be seeing for the first time until the show returns in the new year with new episodes. According to a new report from SpoilerTV, this individual goes by the name of Barrett, and is described as being someone who is “tough,” extremely loyal, and also in his thirties. This will also not be a character who can be easily swayed, as he holds true to some very fierce beliefs.

Just how important could this character be? Let’s just say that there is already an option on the table for this character to end up becoming a series regular down the road if they are well-received. Colin O’Donoghue recently received this promotion himself for the role of Captain Hook, and it is easily foreseeable that another character could get it, as well. “Once Upon a Time” could use some more interesting male characters, and what we are interested in knowing now is if Barrett is someone like Baelfire, Peter Pan, the White Rabbit, or someone who we are still in the dark about. We also still to know some more about the mystery man we saw at the start of the season, and how he could be one of the characters mentioned above.
