‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ season 5: A Teresa Giudice ‘friends’ rumor

Even though “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is not even done airing this season just yet, we are already starting to take a little bit of a look ahead as to what could be coming up at some point down the road for season 5.

So what is the least surprising rumor of the week? That producers for the Bravo show are looking to possibly add someone to serve as a valuable “ally” to one Teresa Giudice. According to a new report from Radar Online, there are a number of people being looked at for the time being when it comes to casting, including makeup artist Priscilla DiStasio, a close in Linda Berger, and a woman in Gia Casey who Teresa is at least pretty familiar with already. The purpose of bringing one of these people on would be to make sure Teresa has someone on her side, and we would not just have a situation again of a number of people going after her constantly without someone to defend her.

So are any of these rumors even remotely true? For the time being, it’s really better to be skeptical than actually sold on anything that is being talked about here. We have not had a great deal of confidence over the years in casting rumors that come out before a season is even over, especially since we at the moment do not even know just yet whether or not any members of the current cast are going to leaving. Then again, this is a show that is open to a little bit of expansion. The majority of the installments in the franchise have more than five cast members, especially when you consider some of the recurring cast members a la Marlo Hampton in Atlanta or Brandi Glanville in Beverly Hills last season.
