Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 22 return date: Noelani held hostage

Want to know what’s coming on Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 22? Well, for starters, you’re going to have a chance to see arguably the biggest episode for Noelani through the entirety of her run on the show. We’re going to have a chance to see an element of her past, but also her life on the line as she and her mentor are put in a harrowing position. Hopefully, all of that time around McGarrett and Five-0 is going to rub off on her at some point. Otherwise, she may find herself in some trouble trying to deal with a criminal’s demands in a short period of time.

The one downside with this big episode is simply having to wait in order to see it. This episode is not airing until Friday, April 26, meaning that this is when the official home stretch of episodes is going to be here. Once we get to that point, you don’t have to worry anywhere near as much about hiatuses … but you will have to deal with the fact that there is no season 10 renewal at that point.

“O ke kumu, o ka māna, ho‘opuka ‘ia” – While Adam investigates the murder of an undercover FBI agent about to wed the daughter of a Yakuza leader, Noelani is held hostage and forced, along with her mentor Dr. Chu (Page Leong), to operate at gunpoint on a criminal, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, April 26 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This episode is obviously going to be emotional, and for Adam equally as much as Noelani. We already know a thing or two about his past with the Yakuza, so our feeling is that anytime that he ends up being thrown back into this world, he’s going to have to confront some of these emotions that he associates with his past. This is an episode that will certainly have a little bit of action to it, but we’ve got a feeling that it will be mostly fronted by exceptional performances from Kimee Balmilero and Ian Anthony Dale. These are two performances who have shown us, time and time again over the years, that they can excel with even just a small bit of material. This is their chance to do a lot and hopefully hit some stuff out of the park.

Now, let’s just hope that by the time the show comes back for another season, there is some sort of official renewal out there. Is that really so much to ask?
