The Orville season 2 episode 13 preview: One tomorrow after another

Orville

Next week, The Orville season 2 episode 13 is coming and superficially, there is a cause for some IMMEDIATE emotion. We’re gearing up for the penultimate episode of the entire season! If there is an occasion in which to be sad, this is it since there are only so many guaranteed adventures in space still out there. This is one of those shows that we need to see more of, that we crave virtually every second that it’s on. There really is no other like it out there and that makes the lingering and the waiting harder. (Technically, Fox has until May to render a verdict, but given how long it takes to make this show and do the post-production, it’d certainly benefit Seth MacFarlane to get a heads-up sooner rather than later.)

So what is coming up next week? Be prepared for an episode that is putting Ed and Kelly’s relationship first, and one that in turn could have some sweeping ramifications that lead into the upcoming season 2 finale. There aren’t too many episodes of The Orville that are directly linked, but if there are some that are worthy of it, it’s certainly those near the end of the season.

Below, CarterMatt has the official The Orville season 2 episode 13 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up next:

A time distortion affects Ed and Kelly’s relationship in the all-new “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” episode of THE ORVILLE airing Thursday, April 18 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (ORV-212) (TV-14 L, V)

It’s really been a long time coming since we had some sort of spotlight on the relationship between Ed and Kelly — think in terms of early on this season! We haven’t really needed the two of them to have much of a spotlight on them since then, largely because there are so many other characters deserving of some time within this world. (Also, we’re not 100% sure at the moment that Ed and Kelly really need to be together in order for the show to work — their relationship has its appeal, but there are so many others on the show that do and they’ve got a lot of baggage at this point. It’s hard to forget about a lot of that just for the sake of where they are right now.
